Paying tribute to Patrick Muldoon, Alison Sweeney expressed how lucky she felt to have worked with him when she first started at Days of Our Lives, recalling that he immediately made her feel at ease and brought his unique charm and humour to work every day. In the end, she added that the truly gifted actor leaves a loss that many will profoundly feel.

"This is such heartbreaking news. Pat was a rare kind of person—brilliantly talented, endlessly kind, and generous in spirit. I was so lucky to have worked with him when I first started at Days, he made me feel at ease right away. He brought his unique charm and humor to work every day. A truly gifted guy, and one who will be profoundly missed". Sweeney posted on X.

While Sweeney and Muldoon remain best known for their long-running history on Days of Our Lives, they also reunited together in Days of Our Lives: Night Sins. However, later they returned for A Very Salem Christmas, a festive spin-off built around an alternate “what-if” version of Salem.

Even in his final chapter, Patrick Muldoon kept moving forward. He appears as Richie Denton in Dirty Hands, set for release on April 24, 2026. He was also set to appear as David in the upcoming film Stay at Home, though producers now face uncertainty until they share an official update.
