Andy Cohen is pushing back against Lisa Kudrow’s suggestion that a dramatic moment from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may have been staged, saying the now-viral Italy van scene was actually real. Speaking on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, Cohen clarified that while another van was visible nearby, it belonged to the production crew and had already left — meaning Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne genuinely had to wait for a ride back.

“The other car was the crew vehicle that was taking the crew somewhere else...Kyle and Erika were walking on the street waiting for the van, that was real.” Cohen explained, adding that Kyle and Erika later called the house for a ride.

The clarification comes after Kudrow raised eyebrows during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where she pointed out that another van appeared to be visible during the scene, prompting renewed fan speculation online that the dramatic The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills moment may have been exaggerated.

But Lisa Kudrow’s comments did not come out of nowhere — fans had already been questioning about the scene online.

“This isn’t really a, it’s not even that interesting. I’m sorry to bore you guys, but that is what happened.” Cohen jokingly adds later on in his show, after explaining what really happened.
