It is no secret that BLACKPINK aims for nothing less than global domination. Since their explosive 2016 debut, BLACKPINK has shattered records with hits like 'DDU-DU DDU-DU 'and 'Kill This Love', becoming the first artist to surpass 100 million YouTube subscribers and topping Spotify streams worldwide. With each member serving as a luxury brand ambassador, it was only natural that their next conquest would be a playful clothing collaboration with Disney.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, BLACKPINK has partnered with Disney and Complex for a limited-edition capsule collection, officially launching on March 5, 2026. Designed by Bobby Kim, Disney’s Global Creative Director, the line reimagines Mickey and Minnie Mouse through a 1970s London punk and streetwear lens, blending nostalgia with contemporary style.
The collection features a bold mix of apparel, including graphic tees in white, pink, and charcoal, hoodies, crop tops, tank tops, and a tailored plaid blazer. Accessories include a black tote bag and a charcoal fitted cap, while exclusive collectible photocards of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa accompany each purchase.
BLACKPINK’s collaboration extends beyond fashion into fan experience, combining music, style, and Disney heritage. Available exclusively at the Complex Shop, items such as the Minnie Tank Top retail around $35, while third-party K-pop merchandise lists similar sweatshirts and tees, reflecting high demand and collectibility.
A Disney clothing collaboration fits BLACKPINK perfectly, given that each member already turns every sidewalk into a runway.
How BLACKPINK has taken over the fashion industry
BLACKPINK has seized the fashion world with precision, turning luxury endorsements into absolute power plays. Jennie, the "Human Chanel," transforms balletcore and high-street trends into instant sell-outs, fronting the Chanel 25 handbag campaign while collaborating with Gentle Monster and Calvin Klein, proving that when she wears it, the world watches.
Rosé channels Saint Laurent’s rock-chic energy, pairing gowns with leather jackets and tomboy-chic Levi’s ensembles. Her historic Met Gala appearance with Anthony Vaccarello cemented her status as a Western fashion fixture, showing that edgy elegance can coexist with K-pop stardom on a global stage.
Lisa bridges streetwear and ultra-luxury, elevating Celine and Louis Vuitton campaigns while blending tech and style through partnerships with Bose and PlayStation. Her cool-girl maximalism demonstrates how fashion influence can expand into lifestyle dominance across Asia and Western markets alike.
Jisoo represents Dior’s classic beauty while exploring Tommy Hilfiger’s preppy-American aesthetic. Collectively, BLACKPINK captures nearly every fashion segment, making their Disney x Complex capsule collection a perfectly on-brand move in their ever-expanding sartorial empire.
