BLACKPINK are rumored to headline Coachella 2027 according to Hits Daily Double. While they did not take over the stage thistay year, they still stayed in the Coachella 2026 conversation through standout moments like Rosé dancing with Anya Taylor-Joy and Lisa performing as an angel alongside Anyma on 'Bad Angel'.
It looks like they may just continue their Coachella talk takeover tradition next year as well.
Hits Daily Double has named BLACKPINK among the possible headliners for Coachella 2027, setting off fresh festival speculation. The lineup will not be revealed for at least six months, yet industry observers are already circulating names. If confirmed, it would follow their historic 2023 headlining run that redefined K-pop visibility at the festival.
BLACKPINK previously made Coachella history in 2023 by becoming the first K-pop group to headline the festival, delivering a landmark two-weekend performance that cemented their global dominance. Their set featured explosive renditions of ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, ‘Pink Venom’, and ‘How You Like That’, creating a spectacle that drew massive in-person crowds and record-breaking livestream attention worldwide.
A potential 2027 return could draw heavily from BLACKPINK’s ‘DEADLINE’ era, their February 2026 mini-album that marked a sharp group reset after ‘Born Pink’. The EP delivered five tracks, including ‘GO’, ‘JUMP’, ‘Champion’, and ‘Me and My’, with ‘GO’ debuting at over 4.6 million Spotify streams and the project selling 1.46 million copies on day one, setting a new benchmark for K-pop girl groups.
Of course, the girl group is not the only name being tossed into the headliner mix as speculation keeps spiraling
Other potential Coachella 2027 headliners
Hits Daily Double has expanded the Coachella 2027 headliner conversation beyond BLACKPINK, placing Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean, Radiohead, and Carín León among the potential names. Rodrigo could arrive with her upcoming Geffen Records album ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’.
As for Dua Lipa, she is developing the follow-up to ‘Radical Optimism’, keeping her stadium momentum alive. Olivia Dean also enters the frame after a strong Lollapalooza co-headlining run.
The speculation also spills into legacy acts and global touring heavyweights, with Radiohead’s reunion adding serious gravity after their AEG-linked ‘KID A MNESIA’ project built around ‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’ turned immersive nostalgia into an event. Carín León continues his rapid ascent as a Latin touring powerhouse, preparing to become the first Latin artist to headline Sphere.
All of it only sharpens the ongoing BLACKPINK Coachella 2027 headliner chatter.
