Travis Clark has taken 2026 to set things right. Taking to social media, the Bringing Up Bates one-half of a couple has come clean about his past choices.

Katie Bates and Travis Clark got married in December 2021, aged 21 and 20, respectively. Come 2026, the now 24-year-old Clark has come clean about certain hurtful choices he had taken against his wife.

"I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust," the 'Goodness of God' singer wrote on his Instagram story on January 18, 2026. He revealed that he will be seeking help to better himself in accountability, beyond asking for forgiveness.

"I understand that an apology doesn’t repair what I broke, and forgiveness is not something I deserve or can ask for," Clark wrote via Instagram. The news follows Bates' announcement of a pregnancy loss on January 17, 2026.

After their marriage in 2021, Katie Bates and Travis Clark welcomed their first child, daughter Hailey James, in 2023. The following year, their son Harvey Gray was born.

As Katie Bates recovers from the news, Travis Clark has requested that the onlookers grant her privacy.
