As per TMZ, Britney Spears was arrested on March 4, 2026, in Ventura County, California, on suspicion of driving under influence after authorities received a report of erratic driving. The California Highway Patrol stopped her vehicle in Westlake Village, and her car was subsequently towed to an impound lot for investigation.

The 44-year-old singer was booked into the Ventura County Jail at approximately 3:00 AM and released three hours later after undergoing a medical test to determine her b---- a------ content. Law enforcement confirmed she was transported to a local hospital immediately following the traffic stop for standard processing.

Spears’ representative, speaking to outlets such as BBC News, described the arrest as unfortunate yet inexcusable and emphasized that the singer will cooperate with legal authorities and pursue necessary support. Accordingly, reports from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office have claimed a court appearance scheduled for May 4, 2026.

Britney Spears has also taken down her Instagram account, a place that she used to vent to her followers.
