NYC Winter Outing is perhaps the next best thing after Christmas and New Year's. Of course, with a brand new year comes brand new winter weeks.

January 20 through February 12, 2026, is taken up by the NYC Winter Outing, and with it has come the 2-for-1 ticket glory. As of January 7, 2026, the tickets for Broadway Week are up for sale.

The tickets for Broadway week can be acquired through the New York City Tourism website. The code NYCBW250 can be entered during the purchase for discounts.

As per New York Tourism, there will be a showcase of plays like Aladdin, All Out, and The Book of Mormon, among others. Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Wicked, and The Lion King will also play.

The Broadway week is only part of NYC's winter wonderland every year.

What is the NYC Winter Outing?

Commenced in 2019, the NYC Winter Outing is a creation of New York City's tourism board, NYC & Company. The 3-week and four-day running program (for 2026) includes discounts on the services offered by certain restaurants, attractions, museums, Broadway shows, and so on.

The services come through the restaurants, plays, and hotspots that participate in the event. The NYC Winter Outing is a culmination of NYC Restaurant Week, NYC Broadway Week, and NYC Must-See Week.

Winter in New York City looks a lot like discounted delights. With 2026 has come yet another event for celebration disguised as the NYC Winter Outing.
