December fills Damon Dash's coming year not with celebrations, but with auctions igniting his storied assets. While every property may be precious to an owner, none of them compares to co-producing a movie with Kanye West.

Honor Up, Damon Dash's film co-produced with Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West, has joined Dash's Poppington LLC's put up for auction, according to All Hip Hop. This has been to satisfy the hip-hop icon's claim of Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

His empire, including Dash Films Inc., Bluroc LLC, and Blakroc LLC, have all come under the sale spotlight. Additionally, films Too Honorable (another name for Honor Up), We Went to…China, released in 2015, and Welcome to Blackroc have all been thrown in for bids.

The movie itself centers on a lieutenant in the underground business battling to protect his crime family from a shootout. With Damon Dash starring, Kanye West served heavily as executive producer, from promotion to capsule merchandise, for this Poppington LLC., up for bids, as per All Hip Hop.

Dash's Roc crumbling empire has more than just his film factory at stake.

Damon Dash's $25 million is up for sales

Damon Dash, the ex-Roc-A-Fella co-founder, has had several of his assets zeroed in on to satisfy his bankruptcy plea. Besides Poppington LLC., targeted entities encompass his interests in Lebanon Improvements, Ocean East Improvements, and 1996 Songs LLC., as well.

This stems from an unpaid $823,284.71 judgment tied to an earlier defamation case. Troubles began in 2019 with a copyright and defamation lawsuit by filmmaker Josh Webber over their Dear Frank collaboration.

Damon Dash's non-payment prompted asset seizure despite his bankruptcy filing on September 4, 2025. U.S. Marshals courts then approved Poppington LLC's auction, leading to Dash's condition to date.

Damon Dash's debt-defying arc has his visions with Kanye West staked out. As Poppington LLC's fate uncovers, the hip-hop mogul's tax liens await their final judgment.
