Charli xcx is making headlines, and this time for her upcoming album ‘Wuthering Heights’, which she created for the film with the same name. While the project in itself has built curiosity, it became even more interesting when she revealed Joe Keery’s involvement in her album.

Before the actual confirmation, there were unexplained pairings without announcements or teasers where the Stranger Things' famous Joe Keery hit a new milestone collaborating with Charlie xcx in the 'Wuthering Heights' album. 

Long before anyone bothered with an announcement, there were the unexplained pairings, the sort that arrive without knocking and leave everyone talking. Joe Keery, lately of Stranger Things and lately of everyone’s attention, slipped into Charli xcx’s 'Wuthering Heights' like a secret kept just long enough to feel clever, marking a milestone not with a drumroll but with a knowing smirk.

“I can confirm this is real. it’s djorli baby” Charli xcx wrote on social media, confirming Keery’s involvement, ending speculations and rumors.

This followed after a fan took a snippet of the onscreen credits that mentioned Joe Keery as the co-writer for the song ‘Funny Mouth’ from the ‘Wuthering Heights’ album.

The collaboration of Charli xcx & Keery was soft-launched at the Golden Globe Awards when they appeared together on stage to present an award. Fans were taken by surprise at the unusual crossover without realising it had a hidden agenda all along. 

Post his Hawkins success, Joe Keery has his hands full with his future projects. By the time the final season of Stranger Things came to an end, Keery was already starring in the film Cold Storage, a horror comedy alongside Liam Neeson. Aligning very much with his latest project, Joe Keery's career is anything but in cold storage and that he is a hot commodity circling a certain Marvel character is proof of the same.

Perhaps it is the recurrence of red and blue or simply the spirit of being the friendly neighborhood superhero, but Stranger Things and Spider Man are finding their webs to be tangled.

First came Sadie Sink, then Caleb McLaughlin, and now Joe Keery. Fans believe that Joe Keery is well-suited to perfectly play Harry Osborn in the 'Spiderman' verse. Answering to the speculations in an interview with ScreenRant, Keery says that he does not mind working with Marvel Studios if offered a role.

Regardless of whether Marvel will knock on his door, Joe Keery will not be spotted in Spider-Man: Brand New Day as the movie has already wrapped up filming. The actor, meanwhile, has been generous with his enthusiasm, leaving the idea of a Spider-Man crossover neatly suspended in gossip. Then again, Keery has made a habit of arriving unannounced, his turn on 'Wuthering Heights' managed that trick perfectly.
