Eminem shocked Rocket Mortgage employees during the annual all-team meeting at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena on Thursday, January 22. The Detroit icon appeared in a hoodie jacket, gray jeans, and white Nike sneakers as seen in various social media posts. He performed a nine-track medley from his Hall of Fame career. 

The set included rare live renditions of 'Lose Yourself' from 8 Mile, 'Square Dance' from 'The Eminem Show,' '3 A.M.' from 'Relapse,' 'The Real Slim Shady', 'Kill You', 'Stan', 'My Name Is', 'Without Me', and 'Houdini'. The crowd erupted in pure excitement.

Rocket Mortgage has a history of going above and beyond for employee entertainment. Last year, Lil Wayne performed as a special guest during the annual team meeting. Thursday marked Eminem’s first performance at Little Caesars Arena, the home of the Detroit Pistons.

Eminem’s last performance in Detroit saw him pop onstage with fellow hometown hero Jack White for the Thanksgiving Day Halftime set at the Lions game. Before that, he performed at Live From Detroit: The Concert in June 2024, ahead of his 'The Death of Slim Shady' album. 

It has been more than a decade since a proper headlining gig in Detroit. His most notable headlining show came in 2014 at Comerica Park with Rihanna during the Monster Tour extravaganza.

Eminem’s last album, 'The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)', arrived in July 2024, earning his 11th No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In 2025, he produced the Stans documentary, exploring his life story through superfans’ eyes.
