Finn Wolfhard has been horror hopping, it seems. With the actor clearing up from Hawkins' exit gate, he drives down the IT: Welcome to Derry signboard.

23-year-old Finn Wolfhard has already moved on from Stranger Things. With the nine-year-running show just ended, the actor has made it known how prepared he is for another bout of the horror genre.

Speaking to Esquire, Wolfhard addressed his character, a younger version of Richie Tozier's appearance in the IT: Welcome to Derry finale. Although in photographic form, the actor seems to be more than aware of the slip, as well as his involvement further in the show.

"I knew that years ago, actually," Wolfhard told Esquire. The actor, who played Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, has even expressed anticipation for the audience to witness his appearance on the HBO original show.

Apart from 80s horror, Wolfhard is no stranger to setting up a path for himself after Stranger Things, even if it is behind the camera.

Finn Wolfhard's stepping stone to subsequent projects

Finn Wolfhard has made his involvement in music known time and again. His own album and extended play, 'Happy Birthday' and 'Soda & Pie', in fact, bear witness.

However, in recent times, Wolfhard developed his interest in visuals as well. On December 16, 2025, Wolfhard released his directorial work, an animated music video for George Harrison's, 'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)'.

Finn Wolfhard is steadily taking his steps towards the future. As he walks away from Stranger Things, the horrors of Derry await his arrival.
