In 2022, Kanye West signalled his belief in French Montana in a public way, turning private encouragement into a visible moment. Through an Instagram post, Montana revealed messages from Ye that emphasised faith in his mindset, creativity, and long-term potential. He expressed confidence in helping Montana reach billionaire status. 

The exchange framed wealth as a shared destination rather than competition. In his caption,  Montana described West as a genuine leader and trusted presence.

Ye was once reported as the richest Black person in the United States with a 6.6 billion dollar net worth, fueled by Yeezy partnerships with Adidas and Gap alongside assets like his music catalogue, though Forbes places the figure closer to 1.8 billion. Beyond business, French Montana and Ye were also spotted together in 2022 in the studio with Moneybagg Yo. 

They created five tracks in one night that could land on ‘DONDA 2’ or ‘Mac N Cheese 5’. Now, their upcoming project marks a moment where collaboration, scale, and ambition align into real billionaire potential.
