Harry Styles has kicked off a new era with 'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally,' landing the biggest opening week of his career, which has shot straight to Number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The project not only becomes his third chart-topping album in the country, but it has also outperformed the debut of 'Harry’s House', moving more than 183,000 units in its first week.

That figure gives him the strongest launch for a male solo artist in the UK since Ed Sheeran’s 'Divide' back in 2017, underlining just how strong the appetite is for this latest chapter. The momentum carries over to physical sales too, with the record dominating the Official Vinyl Albums Chart thanks to over 66,000 vinyl copies sold.

On the singles front, 'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally', arrives hand-in-hand with 'American Girls' debuting at Number 1, earning Styles another chart double as the track joins 'Sign of the Times', 'As It Was', and 'Aperture' in his list of UK chart-topping singles.

While this latest triumph marks a personal high for the former One Directioner, it also builds directly on the foundation he laid with his previous records.

The Harry's House record that paved the way

Harry's House ruled 2022 with a massive UK debut of 113,000 chart units in its opening week, claiming the year's fastest-selling album crown and holding the Official Albums Chart summit for six straight weeks. That vinyl frenzy—182,000 LPs in the US alone—set records and fueled Harry Styles' chart double alongside 'As It Was,' proving his pop grip had tightened post-One Direction.

The album's global haul topped 521,500 equivalent units stateside, blending streams, pure sales, and that irresistible house-party vibe from opener 'Late Night Talking.' It marked Styles' third straight UK Number 1, outpacing 'Fine Line' and his self-titled debut album.

'Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally's 183,000 UK first-week smash eclipses 'Harry's House', now, doubling down on vinyl dominance and chart doubles, making it his boldest sales leap yet. If nothing else, the takeover is perhaps a signal towards a disco evolution in Harry Styles' career.
