Another theory positions Magneto as an established ruler of a mutant nation, such as Genosha or Asteroid M. Doctor Doom’s multiversal invasion threatens that fragile sovereignty. This forces Magneto into a reluctant alliance with the Avengers, prioritizing mutant survival over ideological purity.
