Infamous GlamBOT Producer Faces Removal From Grammy Awards Following the Email Drama, Reports

The high-speed red carpet spectacle dazzles stars every awards season, but the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles arrived with quieter backstage tension. What began as a viral Golden Globes moment soon escalated into scrutiny, resurfaced emails, and uncomfortable questions, as one notable Grammys absence hinted at a deeper industry reckoning.
The infamous GlamBOT producer Cole Walliser was notably absent from the 2026 Grammy Awards following mounting debate, according to Variety.
His removal came after a tense Jennifer Lopez moment at the Golden Globes which narrowed down the focus on him and ultimately led to the resurfacing of his 2019 email exchange with a client in which he questioned their ability to afford the GlamBOT, sparking widespread backlash.
Variety reported that E!, now under Versant Media Group, Inc. ownership following its split from NBCUniversal, emphasized maintaining a respectful and professional environment.
Sources told the outlet the network does not condone behavior inconsistent with its standards, signaling a stricter approach to oversight and accountability for red carpet operations in future events.
While one viral exchange shook his red carpet dominance, deeper cracks began surfacing from past interactions long buried.
Red carpet drama grows around Cole Walliser’s professional conduct
Beyond the Jennifer Lopez and wedding email drama, Cole Walliser faced criticism from Drag Race star Morphine Love Dion, who accused him of dismissive behavior during the Emmys.
She claimed drag performers were treated with visible indifference, fueling allegations that Walliser reserved professionalism only for traditional A-list celebrities and reinforcing his reputation for gatekeeping on the red carpet.
Walliser also came under scrutiny when photographer Nigel Barker challenged his inflated GlamBOT pricing, and Joseph Kahn, the technology’s original creator, publicly clarified his role.
Additional reports from assistants and creators described curt, cold interactions, further framing the drama as a broader debate over elitism and the power dynamics behind Hollywood’s glamorous façade.
