Industry insiders told World of Reels that Amazon MGM has quietly championed Elordi without issuing a formal offer. A traditional screen test, including tuxedo fittings and action sequences, is expected in 2026 before a midyear final decision.
Steven Knight, the screenwriter behind Peaky Blinders and Eastern Promises, is shaping Bond 26 for Amazon MGM. An insider told World of Reels the rebooted Bond should look capable of swift violence, straight from Ian Fleming’s colder imagination.
