Jake Gyllenhaal Enters His Luxury Era as Bulgari’s New Global Ambassador

Jake Gyllenhaal built his reputation the old-fashioned way: by making audiences slightly uneasy and critics thoroughly impressed. From the unnerving ambition of Nightcrawler to the claustrophobic urgency of The Guilty and the bruised swagger of Road House, Gyllenhaal proved he could carry both arthouse grit and Hollywood muscle. Now that commanding presence moves beyond cinema, as the acclaimed actor enters the fashion sphere as global ambassador for the Italian luxury house Bulgari.

Women’s Wear Daily reported that Bulgari has recruited Jake Gyllenhaal as the brand's first male global ambassador, proving that Hollywood intensity pairs nicely with Roman sparkle. Laura Burdese, the jeweler’s deputy chief executive officer, praised Gyllenhaal’s integrity, empathy, and authenticity. In Burdese’s view, those traits mirror the cultural sensitivity and craftsmanship that Bulgari likes to claim as its calling card.

Burdese also argued that Gyllenhaal brings unusual emotional depth to his performances, which the Italian house considers a natural extension of its artistic identity. Her endorsement carries the weight of someone preparing to run the Roman institution.

Jake Gyllenhaal responded by explaining that he has long felt a personal affinity for Bulgari’s philosophy. The actor highlighted the maison’s balance between visual beauty and cultural meaning. He added that authenticity, in his view, grows from meaningful relationships, creative dedication, and a commitment to remain truthful to one’s own identity.

As a result, the appointment places Gyllenhaal among Bulgari’s established roster of global ambassadors. That circle already includes Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, Liu Yifei, Lisa Manobal, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

By becoming Bulgari’s first male global ambassador, Jake Gyllenhaal adds the Roman jeweler to his growing luxury résumé.

The impressive luxury fashion alliances Jake Gyllenhaal holds

It appears that the actor collects prestigious maisons with the same patience he brings to demanding film roles. Prada secured that intensity in July 2021 when the Milan fashion house appointed Jake Gyllenhaal as a brand ambassador. He soon became the face of the Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance.

Of course, leave it to Gyllenhaal to find range even while being a brand ambassador. Gyllenhaal also fronted campaigns for the Prada Linea Rossa eyewear collections, which continued appearing in promotional material into early 2026.

The actor’s reach also extends beyond clothing and fragrance into the decorative arts. Ginori 1735 selected Jake Gyllenhaal as a global ambassador in early 2023. The Italian porcelain manufacturer featured him in the “Crafting Beauty for Life” campaigns, which highlight artistic tradition and meticulous handcraft.

Earlier luxury alliances already placed Gyllenhaal firmly within the industry’s polished orbit. Cartier introduced him as the first celebrity campaign star for the Santos de Cartier watch line. Calvin Klein also recruited Gyllenhaal for the Eternity fragrance campaign alongside model Liya Kebede. With Bulgari now entering the picture, the actor’s luxury résumé has become almost as polished as the jewels he now represents.
