Contrary to what it may often seem, Hollywood does seem to run on public opinion. Jennifer Lawrence's apparent lost chance with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino is enough proof of it.

Quentin Tarantino's 2019 box office hit Once Upon a Time in Hollywood starred Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate. In a turn of events, the larger audience has gotten to know the Die My Love star Jennifer Lawrence could have led the comic number.

Speaking on Happy Sad Confused, Lawrence took a question about a filmmaker she would like to work with. On cue, she revealed she could have played Tarantino's Sharon Tate, but commentators online refused to hear of it.

"Everybody was like, ‘She’s not pretty enough to play Sharon Tate, '" Lawrence told Josh Horowitz. She also revealed that, before she could have ever played Sharon Tate, she had rejected a role in Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight.

Quentin Tarantino movie or not, Jennifer Lawrence is set to serve yet another year of The Hunger Games.

Basking in the glory of 2025's Die My Love, Jennifer Lawrence has answered a callback from a beloved past. Lawrence, along with previous co-star Josh Hutcherson, will be making an appearance in The Hunger Games' second prequel movie, Sunrise on the Reaping.
