Jessica Chastain is suddenly collecting project releases like unopened letters on a very full desk. She has just finished promoting Dreams and The Space Within season 2, both now released, while audiences still linger for The Other Mommy. Jessica Chastain’s expanding screen universe is gaining fresh urgency as The Savant edges closer to release.

At the 12th Breakthrough Prize Ceremony, she confirmed to Variety that Apple TV+ is preparing the political thriller for rollout. She serves as both lead actor and executive producer on the series.

“Before it was like, ‘I don’t know if we’re going to see it,’ but now I can say, ‘We’re going to see it,’” she said, while Apple+ has not officially announced a date, sources suggest a planned July 2026 release window. The confirmation has strengthened expectations of a soon global streaming release.

The Savant follows Jessica Chastain as Jodi Goodwin, a former Marine and police officer leading a double life of suburban calm and covert surveillance. By day, she handles routine tech work, secretly infiltrating dangerous online spaces using avatars and virtual reality. The series is inspired by a 2019 Cosmopolitan profiling anonymous operative known as K.
