Pop star Justin Bieber recently made a career record for most monthly listeners on global Spotify, hitting 138 million in 2026. This spike is a combination of viral hits, consistent playlist, and renewed interest in both new releases and old fan favorites. Songs like 'Love Yourself', 'Sorry', and high-performing collaborations continue to lead streams.
Bieber broke the internet soon after his Coachella performance, as his 2021 release 'Justice' gained traction again, propelling him to the no. 1 most listened to spot. Global hits like 'Beauty and a Beat' and 'Eenie Meenie' still pull huge numbers years after release. Additionally, recently, Bieber's 'STAY' joined the ranks of the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify.
Bieber's feat actually dethroned Bruno Mars for the spot. In early 2025, the 'Die With A Smile' singer broke records, becoming the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners back then. However, now the position belongs to Bieber after his count had come down to approximately 137 monthly listeners as of 2026.
Meanwhile, from heartfelt hits like 'Love Yourself' to smooth, chart-topping tracks like 'Peaches,' Bieber's music shows different moods. His collaborations help him reach new audiences, mixing different styles while maintaining his own style intact. That combination of relatability and melody keeps his tracks constantly in demand.
Apart from streaming records, Bieber’s Coachella performance also reflects the next phase of his popularity.
Justin Bieber made a comeback at Coachella
Justin Bieber is currently making headlines for his Coachella 2026 performances, his biggest live shows in four years. Additionally, simultaneously, he has also scored his first-ever top 10 hit on the Billboard Christian Chart with 'Everything Hallelujah'. The artist is also creating excitement for surprise performances and new music after recently releasing the album 'Swag II.'
Bieber performed both weekends at Coachella 2026, delivering a phenomenal and nostalgic performance that featured surprise guests like Billie Eilish and SZA. Additionally, his collaboration with DJ Khaled was revamped with Bieber's performance of their song 'I'm The One,' with Khaled responding warmly to the performance.
He referred to Bieber as his “brother” and told PEOPLE Magazine that he was proud of the 32-year-old's Coachella performance.
“I mean, first of all, Justin Bieber, that's my brother. It's always great to make music with my brother. For him to pull up his computer and pick that song out of all the hits he has, he picked the one that we did together, and my phone blew up,” he further said.
All of these milestones and moments add up to a clear story of Bieber’s current dominance, not just on Spotify but in live performances and evolving music trends. He is still at the front and center of the global pop culture conversation. Whether nostalgia-driven sets or new releases, Bieber is proving that his influence isn’t fading, but evolving, keeping him at the top of the music world.
