Kacey Musgraves has announced her Middle of Nowhere Tour, launching on her thirty-eighth birthday, aligning neatly with her seventh studio album 'Middle of Nowhere'. The thirteen-track record channels a deliberate homecoming to Texas, weaving bluegrass, Western swing, and Mexican influences, signaling her return to touring with renewed roots and range.

The arena tour begins on August 21 at the United Center in Chicago, coinciding with Musgraves’ thirty-eighth birthday. It closes with a two-night engagement at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on October 27 as well.

It is hardly surprising that Musgraves has aligned her Middle of Nowhere Tour with her new album of the same name. Musgraves revealed the North American run through official social media channels. The rollout followed cryptic billboard teasers and a surprise Coachella performance where she performed the album's unreleased track.

The tour incorporates a rotating lineup of opening acts, bringing varied textures to different stops. Midland opens early dates, while Flatland Cavalry joins key arena runs. Charles Wesley Godwin and William Beckmann appear on select shows, reinforcing a regionally rooted, genre-conscious curation.

The ticket frenzy will start on May 5, beginning with an American Express presale. The presale is followed by an artist presale on May 6. As for the general onsale, it will open by May 8 through platforms such as Ticketmaster and SeatGeek.

Fans do not have to wait for the arena run to begin, as Kacey Musgraves has two shows lined up beforehand.

Ahead of her arena run, Kacey Musgraves will perform in an intimate setting with Middle of Nowhere: Live at Gruene Hall, staged at Gruene Hall. Backed by The Mariachi Brothers—Antonio, Caleb, and Joshua Gámez-Cuéllar—Musgraves is expected to preview tracks like ‘Mexico Honey’ and ‘Uncertain, TX’ in a setting far removed from her upcoming tour.

Musgraves then steps onto a larger stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards, held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The performance marks her debut at the ceremony, with speculation around a possible moment alongside Miranda Lambert. Broadcast via Prime Video and Twitch, the appearance extends momentum into the Middle of Nowhere Tour without breaking stride.
