West reinforced the news in person on December 27, 2025, at a Deon Cole comedy show in Los Angeles, assuring fans that the album would be released soon. His surprise appearance dovetailed with the digital countdowns, leaving fans certain that 'Bully' would arrive imminently, and in grand, unapologetic fashion.

Solo production played a central role in shaping the sound of 'Bully'. West, used the classic ASR-10 keyboard for bare-hand beat-making, moving away from the large collaborative sessions that defined his previous albums, emphasizing intimacy and precision in every track.

Early tracks such as 'Preacher Man' and 'Beauty and the Beast' hint at a blend of soulful sampling reminiscent of 'The College Dropout' and the melodic, auto-tuned vulnerability of '808s & Heartbreak'. West is expected to sing more than rap, sometimes using AI vocal filters to refine his delivery.
