Kanye West warms Seoul up with Censori hugs

Contrary to the reserved and cool concept of Bianca Censori’s BIO POP (THE ORIGIN) performance art show, Kanye West’s interactions with the Censori family were affectionate and heartfelt. Swapping the usual sauvé, West exchanged hugs with the Censori family.

They embraced with open arms, particularly Bianca Censori’s mother, Alexandera Censori. The warmth and smiles being exchanged, as captured by South Korean digital fashion magazine Eyesmag, exhibited beyond cordial connections. 

Alexandra Censori and Bianca Censori’s sister, Angelina Censori, had arrived in Seoul on December 10, sparking much curiosity around their reason for following West and Censori’s itinerary. With their presence at BIO POP (THE ORIGIN), the queries stand answered.

Bianca Censori’s career pivot to performance art

Bianca Censori's BIO POP exhibition has been established to offer a contemporary dive into identity and creation. The unique event was announced with invitations as labels on a pill bottle.

The dates, December 11 and 12, 2025, were also announced ‌on Censori’s Instagram page.  They had been posts of three definitive images of a pill, a pair of gloves, and a face mask moulded to match the architect’s own face. 

Kanye West’s presence illuminated more than just the exhibition's grandeur. West’s embrace of the Censori family underscored his evolving role within their circle, far from the spotlight’s usual glare.
