Kanye West, who has spent the better part of the last decade making headlines with his mouth rather than his music, is now attempting a rarer feat: silence broken by song. After 11 years away from European stages, West is stepping back into the concert space, offering fans a reminder that before the noise took center stage, he once did.

West is to release his album ‘Bully’ on March 20, 2026. Ahead of which, he recently took the stage in Mexico City, his first live performance since the 2008 Glow in the Dark tour. Next for Kanye West is a Europe stop where he will be performing 2 back-to-back one-night shows.

The one-night-only concert first takes place at GelreDome in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The stadium has a capacity of 41,000, making it the largest in the country. His second stop is scheduled at Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 18. This opened his limited run of concerts, with further venues yet to be disclosed. 

The concerts were scheduled after he got a great reception at his Mexico concert on January 30, 2026, where fans smelled a comeback unlike any other. To top it off, he also performed a duet with his daughter, North, with the hit ‘Piercing on my Hand’ for the 40,000 fans.

The European dates arrive on the heels of contrition. West recently issued an apology for his antisemitic remarks, followed by a full-page mea culpa in The Wall Street Journal. In it, he attributed his past statements to troubling struggles with his mental health, offering explanation.

Kanye West opens up about his mental state

In the now viral apology, Kanye West revealed that he was diagnosed with Bipolar Type 1, which was not identified in his previous evaluations. He said his wife, Bianca Censori, advised him to take professional help.

The apology also states that the reason behind his disorder is a 25-year-old car accident. He further apologized to the Black Community, expressing his regret for letting them down with his behaviour.

“Bipolar disorder comes with its own defense system. Denial. When you’re manic, you don’t think you’re sick”, West said while openly sharing his issues related to mental health.

While the reception of the apology remains half full as in 2025, he said he was autistic and misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder, Kanye West did not back down from announcing his concert in Europe after his Mexico performance. And now fans eagerly look forward to his European concert.
