Now that the transfer window is closed and full squad lists need to be provided for the 2026-27 season just before the third game of matches begins, a full 25 man squad has been listed by Liverpool that contains the maximum of 17 foreign trained players alongside 8 homegrown ones. There have been no shock inclusions and Liverpool even found space to include Hugo Ekitike in the hope he would be registered before modified lists could be submitted after the January transfer window. There are a few inclusions for a some fans may not know too well in the homegrown side which are 21 year old reserve right back Isaac Mabaya and 22 year old reserve left back Luke Chambers as well as number four choice keeper Vitezslav Jaros. 

They are unlikely to play for the first team for the Premier league this season however will take up nobody that would have had to be left out to include their numbers. 

Younger players under 21 do not need to be listed and so Trey Nyoni, Rio Ngumoha, Jeremey Jacquet and Giovanni Leoni will not have to be named to a squad this season even though they will play a significant role in the first team.
