Madonna stepped onto the stage mid-set as Sabrina Carpenter performed ‘Juno’, hitting the exact moment she sang, 'Have you ever tried this one?' as the track sharply cut into Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ medley. The two moved seamlessly through ‘Vogue’ and ‘Like a Prayer’, before shifting into what appeared to be a new track from Madonna’s upcoming ‘Confessions II’.

Closing the moment, the 'Material Girl' icon thanked Carpenter for the invite, sealing a crossover that blended legacy with a fresh new chapter.

Madonna officially announces her upcoming new album

After the massive success of 'Confessions on a Dance Floor', Madonna is stepping back into that legacy, officially announcing her 15th studio album, 'Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II', set to release on July 3, 2026. The project serves as a direct sequel to her 2005 dance-pop classic and reunites her with producer Stuart Price, while also marking her return to Warner Records. A snippet of the lead track, 'I Feel So Free', has already surfaced, featuring an interpolation of her iconic hit 'Into The Groove'.

Raising expectations even higher, her 2005 era with 'Confessions on a Dance Floor' still stands as one of Madonna’s most defining and influential peaks. The album sold over 10 million copies worldwide, moved between 3.6 to 4 million in its first week alone, and topped charts in 40 countries, setting a Guinness World Record at the time. In the UK, it pushed past 1.36 million units with a 4x Platinum certification, while its lead single 'Hung Up' dominated 41 countries and went on to be named the most successful dance track of the 2000s by Billboard.
