The Solo Leveling spin-off has been spun off into a pause, leaving admirers of Sung Jinwoo’s empire mildly bereft. Chugong’s fantasy dazzles via A-1 Pictures' excess, Hiroyuki Sawano’s grandiose music, and shadow companions like Igris and Beru. All that drama, for the moment, waits in hiatus.

The Solo Leveling: Ragnarok manhwa has entered an indefinite hiatus following the end of Season Two. This pause comes immediately after Chapter 68, the formal season finale. The hiatus stems from the main artist, Jin, stepping away for mandatory military service in South Korea.

In Korea, such military service is mandatory for all the men of the country until they have a good reason not to. Such service commonly spans eighteen to twenty-one months, indicating a prolonged absence. As a result, production cannot continue under the original visual lead.

Despite this, the continuation of the manhwa remains planned. Another artist, trained under the late DUBU, is confirmed to eventually assume illustration duties. The story of Sung Suho, son of Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo, will therefore resume rather than conclude.

Until, the mysterious trainee of Jin takes over, fans can ponder what is to come next in the spin-off.

Soon the old guard returns, with Cha Hae-in stepping forward and Yoo Jinho following as the narrative broadens. Ultimately, the Insect Sanctuary and Demon Realm arcs prepare Sung Suho for cosmic war beside Sung Jinwoo. Until then, the hiatus temporarily freezes this escalation.
