The Daredevil: Born Again universe is gearing up for an even bigger chapter as production on Season 3 gets underway following the show’s renewal after Season 2. With Marvel doubling down on its street-level storytelling, the upcoming installment is already shaping up to push Matt Murdock’s journey into darker and more complex territory, hinting that he may not be fighting alone for much longer.

The biggest surprise comes with the return of Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Set photos reveal Finn Jones and Mike Colter back in action, marking their official MCU comeback after years of uncertainty. Their appearances strongly hint that Marvel is ready to reintegrate its Netflix-era heroes fully.

Adding to the excitement, Krysten Ritter has also been spotted, reinforcing that Jessica Jones will play a key role in the evolving narrative. While Marvel has yet to formally confirm the full scope of these returns, the growing presence of these characters suggests something far bigger is unfolding behind the scenes.

Daredevil’s world expands with Punisher special and more

Jon Bernthal is officially back as Punisher, headlining a new Marvel Special Presentation titled One Last Kill. The project is set to release shortly after the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again, further strengthening the interconnected narrative Marvel is building around its street-level heroes.

Bernthal first debuted as Frank Castle in Season 2 of Daredevil before leading his own standalone series. His return in the revival marked a major moment for longtime fans, and this new special suggests Marvel has even bigger plans for the character.

With Charlie Cox continuing his run as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising Wilson Fisk, the stage is set for a deeper, darker expansion of this corner of the MCU.

With multiple Defenders returning and Punisher stepping back into the spotlight, Marvel is clearly building toward a more connected and character-driven future for its street-level heroes. What started as a revival has quickly evolved into a full-fledged reunion.
