"We have to abolish ICE. I truly believe that is exactly what Jesus would do." Megan Stalter said while appearing highly emotional in a video on Instagram. This was also followed by another post that contained a screen recording which displayed how the actress was not able to post the video against ICE on her platform.

By using phrases such as "If you are a follower of ICE," she urged her followers to speak out, insisting this aligns with what Jesus would do. Megan Marie Stalter began doing improv in her early twenties in Ohio, struggling to find her voice. After a year, she moved to Chicago and started to carve a path in comedy. She began posting videos online in 2018, forming what became The Megan Stalter Show.

In 2019, she moved to New York, quickly gaining recognition in the alt-comedy scene. Her performances on Instagram Live during the pandemic raised her profile, leading to roles in Hacks and comparisons to other self-distributed comedians.

The same year, Megan Marie Stalter expanded her repertoire by joining the cast and writing staff of the reboot of The National Lampoon Radio Hour. She hosted The Megan Stalter Show! and the podcast Confronting Demons with Megan Stalter, while voicing Bonnie Davis in Tooning Out the News and playing Kayla in Hacks.
