Since its first tease in November 2025, Meghan Trainor’s 'Get In Girl Tour' was set to kick off on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan, building steady anticipation. Released on February 13, 2026, as a Galentine’s Day anthem, ‘Get In Girl’ quickly gained traction, pulling in over 45,030 streams in its initial run. But just as that wave hit its peak, with fans ready for her return to the stage, the pop star has now cancelled the tour, catching many off guard.

Citing the mounting challenge of balancing work and family after welcoming a new baby girl with Daryl Sabara earlier this January, Trainor took to social media to announce the cancellation. Speaking directly to fans, she apologised while outlining the pressure of managing a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and adjusting to life with her growing family of five. For now, she steps away from the stage, choosing to stay close to home and be fully present for her newborn.

“I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour. Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has become more than I can take on right now,” Trainor wrote on her Instagram stories.

Adding further, she acknowledged the disappointment fans might feel but stood firm on her decision, calling it the right step for her and her family at this moment and reassuring them that this pause is only temporary. Meanwhile, those who have already purchased tickets will automatically receive refunds to their original payment method within 14–21 days.

Amid the sudden halt, Trainor moves ahead with the release of her upcoming seventh album, ‘Toy With Me’, led by the track ‘Get In Girl’.

As Meghan Trainor’s ‘Get In Girl’ stands as the second single from the album, the lead track ‘Still Don’t Care’ sets the tone for her seventh studio project ‘Toy With Me’. Set to release on April 24, 2026, the album lines up a 14-track list including ‘Potential’, ‘Chef’s Kiss’, ‘Pink Cadillac’, ‘Angels’, ‘Little One’, ‘Princess’, ‘Rich Man’, ‘Delulu’, ‘Men’s Tears’, ‘Toy With Me’, and ‘Hush’. With its full tracklist now revealed, the project continues to build anticipation ahead of its release.

However, Trainor first teased the new project in a 2025 interview with Billboard, where she revealed she had already begun working on new material, describing it as her most honest and fearless work to date. She explained that the album centres around themes of self-confidence, growth, freedom, and connection, adding that it reflects learning how to meet people where they are.

And while Trainor takes a step back from the spotlight following the recent halt, her ‘Toy With Me’ continues to move forward as a more personal and defined phase in her music.
