When asked about a Hannah Montana reboot at the 2027 Dior Cruise Show, Cyrus shut it down with signature nonchalance. The 20th anniversary special premiered on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, featuring performances, a heartfelt Alex Cooper interview, and the return of those iconic bangs. With all the nostalgia surrounding the special, questions about a reboot quickly became impossible to avoid

"I do not know about all that," she said to a Variety interviewer.

She then added, "You always get me in trouble," laughing off the pressure while keeping the door just barely ajar.

The anniversary special was already a full-circle moment for Cyrus, who returned as Hannah, released the reflective ballad 'Younger You,' and reunited with family on screen. Beyond that, she turned heads at the Dior Cruise 2027 show on May 13, 2026, held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). She was also among the first major celebrities to arrive for Jonathan Anderson’s debut cruise collection for the fashion house.

While Cyrus keeps the reboot question at arm's length, her current chapter is anything but standing still.
