When two forces of sound, style, and sheer presence collide, the result is anything but subtle, just like the recently released ‘RUNWAY’. Marking the first-ever collaboration between Lady Gaga and Doechii, the track was first teased in the final trailer of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on April 6, before leading the film’s soundtrack with its bold, fashion-driven energy. And even after the release, Doechii seems far from done with Gaga, continuing to praise her while subtly hinting that there is more still to come.

Speaking to E! News about her collaboration on ‘RUNWAY’, Doechii did not hold back for even a moment, diving straight into praise for Lady Gaga. She described working with Gaga as an incredible experience, calling her an angel, a true master of her craft, and someone whose creativity and authenticity deeply inspired her. At the same time, she kept things intriguingly open-ended, hinting that this collaboration might not be the last, with more still waiting to unfold.

“I don’t want to say too much because we have more to come, me and Gaga. But it was amazing working with her. She is an angel. She is truly a master at her craft". Doechii told E! News.

The song sees Lady Gaga and Doechii co-writing alongside Jayda Love, with production handled by Andrew Watt, Bruno Mars, D’Mile, and Cirkut. Released on April 10, 2026, through Interscope Records and Capitol Records, the track is closely tied to The Devil Wears Prada 2, a connection that dates back to October 2025 when Gaga was spotted filming in Milan, aligning her involvement with the film’s soundtrack during her 'Mayhem' tour.

Meanwhile, even as ‘RUNWAY’ continues to make noise, Lady Gaga shows no signs of slowing down, with 2026 shaping up as another spotlight-heavy chapter in her career.

Lady Gaga’s 2026: Tours, films and what lies ahead

As of early 2026, Lady Gaga has recently wrapped up her The 'MAYHEM' Ball tour expansion, which kicked off its second North American leg on February 14 in Glendale, Arizona. Beyond the stage, she steps straight into The Devil Wears Prada 2, arriving in theatres on May 1, 2026, where she not only appears on screen but also contributes new music, including the reported track 'Shape Of A Woman'.

Looking ahead, Gaga is expected to take the spotlight again at the 2026 Met Gala on May 4, further tying into the film’s momentum, while her team continues to tease a “very bombastic” secret project for the year. She will also be attending the 2026 Met Gala on May 4, while her team continues to tease a “bombastic” secret project, alongside fresh performances like Abracadabra at the 2026 Grammys, hinting that her musical run is far from over.

And while Doechii has yet to reveal any official follow-up with Lady Gaga, she clearly signals that this collaboration is far from over, with more already in motion behind the scenes.
