Streaming has sailed across borders and brought an Italian special to Netflix. As January unfolds, the streamer looks to welcome a ship of classic pirate fantasy to its docks.

The Italian show Sandokan is set to make an entrance on Netflix on January 19, 2026, as per Netflix Tudum. Released in 2025, the show is only a season long.

The show stars Can Yaman, Alanah Bloor, Ed Westwick, and John Hannah. The show is also an adaptation of Emilio Salgari's 1880s novels about the fictional character, Sandokan.

All 8 episodes of the show will be made available as per Netflix Tudum. The adaptation also follows the staple television adaptation made in 1976 of the same name.

The rest of January is just as stream-filled as the nineteenth.

Chef Matty Matheson's Just a Dash, detective special Rizzoli & Isles, Star Search and the reality series WWE: Unreal are slated to arrive on Netflix on January 20. Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart and Queer Eye will arrive on January 21, 2026.

January 22 will see Cosmic Princess Kaguya, Find Her Edge, and Free Bert. The Big Fake, Mike Epps: Delusional and Take That, and Bridgerton season 4 will arrive on January 23, 24, 27, and 29, respectively.

Netflix's schedule for January remains packed till almost the last day. Sandokan only falls in the middle of the streaming timetable for the month.
