Netflix is yet again adding to its comedy roster, and this time, John Cena has climbed the peeling credits. Set for a 2026 release, the streamer's first glimpse into Little Brother comes with news.

John Cena started his career pivot way back in the 2000s, and The Marine set him up for success in 2006. Twenty years later, the WWE brand ambassador's feet have settled on Netflix's comedy collective.

John Cena looks to have donned a rather normal guise in Little Brother's first look. Rather, he looks regular when put in relation to a colorful Eric André sat beside him.

The story is said to revolve around a go-getter real estate agent played by Cena. The plot follows his life, getting invaded by the return of his little brother, who is played by André, as per Netflix.

While Cena and André seem to have warmed up their seats, the rest of Little Brother will soon, as well.

Little Brother is directed by Matt Spicer, who has previously directed 2017's Ingrid Goes West. The movie is written by filmmakers Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, in addition.

The first look also came with the news of more of the cast, which includes Michelle Monaghan, Chris Meloni, and Ego Nwodim. Further, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, and Ben Ahlers are set to star in Little Brother as well.

John Cena continues his genre hunt as he steps into comedy with Netflix. Armed with a cast that looks just as, if not more, comically ready, Little Brother now only awaits a release date.
