Netflix is known to maintain its taste for good drama. But instead of being family-ridden or business-brewn, for it to bag a second season, there must be a box ticked for road rage Beef.

The streamer's original production, Beef, has been confirmed for a second season. The revenge-centric drama championed multiple categories at the 2023 Emmy and Golden Globe Awards, as well as a 98% and 8/10 rating on Rotten Tomatoes IMDb, respectively.

The first season revolved around Steven Yuen and Ali Wong's characters Danny Cho and Amy Lau. For the second season, Beef now stands as an anthology series with new characters and their actors, as per Netflix Tudum.

Netflix's Beef with a side of drivers' drama

Beef had descended on the streamer with lip-bitten grit. Lauded as one of Netflix's best originals by viewers at large, its plot was a spectacle of equal measure.

The show's first season is a 10-part push and pull between truck-driving Danny Cho and SUV owner Amy Lau. As the contractor and self-made entrepreneur wrestle horns, Beef follows the entanglement of their lives thereafter.

The second season, on the other hand, seems to be a young couple's second-person view of their boss and his wife amid war. Come 2026, Beef will bring the spirit of vengeance at full force.
