Generosity often increases a fewfold as every new year rolls in. South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok seems to be an avid practitioner as well.

As 2026 has rolled in, Netflix's Solo-Levelling starring Byeon Woo-seok has given away a generous $70,000. His donation to the South Korean NGO, G Foundation, will help the underprivileged female youth of the country.

His donation equals a sum of 100 million won in the country, as per Chosun Daily's report of the news. It has specifically targeted the regulation of menstrual products in circles facing economic difficulties.

For the new year, the actor has upheld his reputation as an elite donor in the country. His efforts have come into light several times, including his 100 million won donation to the prestigious Hope Bridge Honours Club in June 2025 as well.

With his generosity evident, Woo-seok is perhaps the perfect choice to become a player of the System.

Byeon Woo-Seok the Solo Leveller

Byeon Woo-seok is cast as Sung Jin-woo, the protagonist of the South Korean web novel titled Solo Levelling. To maintain Jin-woo's famously benevolent and humble personality, Byeon's charitable efforts are a probable criterion-check for the role.

It is yet to be announced when Byeon's acting will take to the screens as Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the show. In the meantime, the South Korean web novel's anime adaptation had been climbing up the ranks as a consistent, must-watch number.

For the new year, Byeon Woo-seok's celebratory charity fills in the time until Solo-Levelling's live-action adaptation steps in. The actor, on the other hand, has proven his hospitality spreads beyond the New Year's as well.
