Who actually produced the debut single of North West?

Confusion over the production of 'Piercing On My Hand' began after North West performed the song alongside Kanye West in Mexico City. Because Kanye West produced that live version, many assumed he produced the officially released single.

The official release clarifies otherwise. The February 7 streaming version credits North West as the sole writer and producer on Spotify and YouTube, establishing that the commercially distributed track is entirely self-produced.

Kanye West's daughter performed the full version of her debut single during the Mexico City shows. Earlier in January, she had shared an Instagram Stories preview of an alternate version produced by Kanye West, a distinction that explains the production confusion.
