Apparently, even Brad Pitt is no match for Oscar Piastri’s poker face. The McLaren driver has built a reputation for almost eerie composure, whether defending relentlessly against Charles Leclerc in Baku or calmly navigating tense team orders during his maiden victory in Hungary. Even as Hollywood came calling, Piastri’s famously unflappable demeanor remained perfectly intact.

While discussing the dangers of Formula 1 to Herald Sun, Nicole Piastri revealed that Oscar Piastri barely reacted after standing beside Brad Pitt during filming for the F1 movie. The McLaren driver later insisted he had not even met the Academy Award winner. The moment, caught on screen, showed Pitt and Piastri standing side by side.

“What are you going to say to that old guy?’” was what Oscar Piastri had said when Nicole Piastri asked him about their meeting. The mother proudly declared that fame has not changed her son even a little bit.

Oscar Piastri explained that although he had been near Brad Pitt during the scene, he never actually spoke to the Hollywood actor. The F1 driver even denied meeting Pitt at all.

The story becomes more amusing in light of Oscar Piastri’s earlier Hollywood casting idea. During an appearance on the F1: Beyond The Grid podcast with host Tom Clarkson, the McLaren driver was asked which actor should portray him in a future biographical film. Oscar Piastri laughed and replied that it had to be Brad Pitt.

Tom Clarkson suggested Tom Cruise as an alternative, but Oscar Piastri kept the joke going. The Australian driver said it would probably be one of the two. The remark now hilariously sits beside the tale of him standing near Brad Pitt and apparently finding little to discuss.

Now that Brad Pitt has entered the Oscars conversation for F1, the actor may not be finished with racing stories. Should Oscar Piastri’s story ever reach the big screen, the casting suggestion might already be settled.
