To live multiple lifetimes in one may be impossible, but the Avengers have often defied the cycle of life. Patrick Stewart, for example, is already on his fifth, with Avengers: Doomsday.

Avengers: Doomsday, is scheduled to release on December 18, 2026. As the days decrease, the third teaser for the upcoming film has created both havoc and amusement regarding a certain Professor X in the Marvel Universe.

Played by the revered Patrick Stewart, Professor X is famous for having died four times in four different Marvel movies. Confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, an ominous dialogue about death has his fate seemingly continued this fifth time.

Professor X first died in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). The X-Men leader continued to die in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Logan (2017), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).

Having faced his death more times than normal, it is the fans who seem to be more affected by the possibility.

Professor X's goodbye before Avengers: Doomsday release

The avid onlookers have kept records of the Marvel world's most powerful mutant, Professor X. As Avengers: Doomsday slowly inches closer to release, the death of Charles Francis Xavier is both dooming and oddly nostalgic for the fans.

With Patrick Stewart entering his mid-80s, retirement rumors add even more fuel to this announcement.

Avengers: Doomsday is also said to be Patrick Stewart's final act before retirement in December 2026. Whether the information holds true or not, it is quite surely yet another goodbye to Professor X.
