Titled Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars, this mixed-reality adventure from Maze Theory will launch later in 2026, exclusively on Meta Quest 3/3S and Pico 4 headsets, with additional platforms to be determined.

The game immerses players as lone astronaut Ryland Grace. Building on Andy Weir's blockbuster novel and its hotly anticipated film, the game dives into an original, untold chapter after the Hail Mary mission. Players partner with the iconic alien Rocky to troubleshoot a crippled spaceship.

Hands-on zero-gravity repairs in the cockpit and science-packed puzzles blend astrophysics and engineering, all enhanced by passthrough mixed reality for seamless real-world integration. This is the first step outside of what happens in the book and movie, as per creator and writer Andy Weir.
