While Blackpink is often seen racing as the top runners of K-pop, the track's length may get exhausting now and then. It only proves ROSÉ's point, giving them more substance as humans over idols.

Blackpink first set foot on the stage back on August 8, 2016. Now, in 2026, the girl group is preparing for their first tour after nearly 3 years. Despite the waves created, ROSÉ has not let the fandom forget the reality behind the spectacle.

"Just because I was from a K-pop group doesn't mean I am a different type of human being," she said on the Call Me Daddy podcast. She explained how being a part of such a big scheme often puts her under a microscope. The audience, in turn, nitpicks any and every type of comment coming from her or anyone in the industry.

"All the articles, all the comments, I see it roll down," ROSÉ elaborated on the podcast. The tearful reaction came while she had been addressing whether she was seeing some or not, at the moment. Her immediate response was a panic-stricken look towards the crew for confirmation.

While ROSÉ took a breather, her recent group schedule just finished taking an even longer one.

ROSÉ and Blackpink's year ahead

MTV and Billboard award-bagging K-pop group, Blackpink, announced their third mini album titled 'Deadline' in January 2026. Following their worldwide tour of the same name, the extended play will be released on February 27, 2026, via their collective agency, YG Entertainment.

The album will contain 5 tracks, accumulating a total of 15 minutes in length. Four of the tracks are yet to be titled, while the single 'Jump' was released in July 2025. Perhaps giving a hint to the rest of the tracks, 'Jump' opens the album with a blend of dance music genres, like hardstyle, eurodance, and EDM.

Their relentlessness has made Blackpink the first K-pop act to complete a global sold-out stadium tour without a full-length album. Despite ROSÉ's claim of being human, the band has taken over venues like the wind.
