“We talked about not coming here, too. And I really considered not coming tonight. "But we got assurances that everybody’s safe," the country singer explained to her audience during Saturday's show at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas.

On Friday, October 9, 2026, Langley was originally scheduled to perform at BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a part of her current “The Dandelion Tour” but she released a statement via her socials saying,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s Tulsa show at BOK Center has been cancelled. I know how much it cost everyone to be there — both financially and in time. I am so sorry about this, I hate disappointing anyone and know that tickets are hard to come by on this tour. I will NEVER put anyone’s safety at risk, and wish everyone in Tulsa well. Thank you for your understanding ❤️

Shortly after, more details revealed that hours before start time, BOK Center received a phone call threatening of potential explosives/violence during Ella Langley’s performance. The Tulsa Police Department thoroughly and professionally executed their job in ensuring the safety of everyone inside the venue. Multiple TPD patrol divisions, along with the Bomb Squad and K-9 units, evacuated the premises and conducted numerous sweeps. Following a detailed search, police determined there was no legitimate danger and classified the incident as a fake "swatting" call. While cancellation was not recommended, at the suggestion of Ella Langley’s security team & the BOK Center, the show has been cancelled.

Despite TPD’s statement that they believed the bomb threat to be a hoax, the 27-year-old Choosin’ hitmaker stood strong with her decision. During Saturday’s performance, Langley spoke further on the situation, telling those present that she’d make the same decision again in a heartbeat.

I would do that 10 billion times over if there’s any chance of anybody, whether it be a fan or somebody that works in the building or my crew, being hurt, Langley said.

While disappointing for those who made it to Tulsa that night, surely they agree that Langley made the only choice that mattered in ensuring everyone made it home safe.
