Anna Faris and Regina Hall have dropped a fake podcast skit called Call Us Mommy, as part of Scary Movie 2026's promotional campaign. The duo returns as Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks, and the skit is exactly as unhinged as fans would expect. Consider this the loudest, most chaotic Mother's Day gift Hollywood has ever delivered.

The skit features Anna Faris and Regina Hall hosting a segment called Cool Mom, Bad Mom for Scary Movie 2026. Topics range from single moms redirecting kids to an absent father, to text snooping, and raiding college funds for a mental health vacation. The bit is as raunchy and unfiltered as the franchise has always promised.

"I think she definitely wanted to f*** her daughter's boyfriend," Faris declared in the opening bit.

To which Hall swiftly added, "if he's cute, I get it," setting the entire tone in ten seconds flat.

Scary Movie 2026, also titled Scary Movie 6, hits theatres on June 5, 2026, under Paramount Pictures and Miramax. The runtime sits at approximately 95 minutes. The film parodies modern horror, including Get Out and Sinners, leaning into reboot and legacy sequel culture, arriving 13 years after Scary Movie 5 landed in 2013.

While the podcast skit is pure promotional chaos, the real ensemble assembled for this film might just be equally unhinged.

Scary Movie 6 reunites its original core cast

Scary Movie 6 sees Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Marlon Wayans, and Shawn Wayans all return alongside original cast members Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Jon Abrahams, Cheri Oteri, and Chris Elliott. New additions include Kenan Thompson, Kai Cenat, Heidi Gardner, and Damon Wayans Jr. The Wayans brothers are also co-writing and producing the film.

The original Scary Movie launched in 2000, written and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, cementing itself as the definitive comedy-horror parody franchise of its era. The series ran through five instalments before going quiet after Scary Movie 5 in 2013. Now, 13 years later, the Mommy Gang era is officially open for business.
