“I mean Sharukh Khan's the goat, right?” Turner says while discussing cinematic charisma, before placing Deepika Padukone alongside him as an artist she genuinely admires. She specifically cites RRR as a viewing experience that sharpened her appreciation for Indian spectacle and star-driven storytelling.

“I'd actually love to be in a Bollywood movie.” Turner lingers on Bollywood’s song-and-dance traditions, admiring their beauty and architectural ambition while talking to Firspost. Compared to Western sets, she suggests, Indian productions treat fantasy not as excess but as a disciplined art form.

That romanticism contrasts neatly with Steal, a tightly wound London heist drama. As Zara, Turner navigates armed coercion, missing billions, and moral fallout, grounding the series’ exploration of class inequality and financial desperation in sharply observed human consequence.

Joining the dots, Sophie Turner’s Bollywood affection may trace back to her alleged ex-friendship with global crossover star Priyanka Chopra.
