Tom Holland and Zendaya's romance may have just found its way into a drinks menu. The actor recently revealed that Bero's newest fruit-forward flavours were created with his fiancée in mind after realizing traditional beer simply was not her thing. As it turns out, paying attention can be the sweetest love language of all.

Announcing Bero's new limited-edition shandy collection on June 1, Holland revealed that the fruit-forward drinks were created specifically with Zendaya in mind. The actor admitted that his fiancée has never been much of a beer drinker, inspiring him to develop something she could genuinely enjoy. As a longtime fan of shandies himself, Holland said the beer-lemonade blend felt like the perfect next step for the non-alcoholic brand.

“To be honest, I created the BERO Shandy for Z,” Holland said in the release. “She's never been a beer drinker, so I wanted to bring something new to the table that she could enjoy,” Holland told PEOPLE.

The new collection features four flavours—'Daybreak Shandy', 'Golden Hour Shandy', 'Sunset Shandy', and 'Midnight Shandy'—each inspired by a different time of day. Holland also joked that Zendaya has effectively claimed the grapefruit-flavoured 'Golden Hour Shandy' as her own, leaving him with little chance of enjoying it at home. Meanwhile, the elderflower notes in 'Sunset Shandy' remind the actor of his grandmother.

While Holland may be making headlines with Bero today, the actor is also gearing up for what could be the biggest summer of his career.

Tom Holland's massive 2026 slate

Tom Holland looks poised to dominate the summer box office with back-to-back blockbuster releases arriving in July. First comes Christopher Nolan's epic The Odyssey on July 17, where the actor stars as Telemachus alongside Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya. Just two weeks later, Holland swings back into action in Marvel's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the highly anticipated fourth installment in his Spider-Man saga.

Picking up four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home, the upcoming superhero blockbuster finds Peter Parker living in complete isolation, with the world having no memory of who he is. The film will also feature Jon Bernthal's return as The Punisher and the introduction of the infamous ninja clan, The Hand. Anticipation is already through the roof, with the first trailer generating a staggering 718.6 million views within its first 24 hours after Holland launched it from atop New York City's Empire State Building.

However, while the new Bero collection may be making headlines for its vibrant flavours, it's the sweet story behind the launch that has fans smiling.
