‘Smallville’ on Netflix Gets International Run Kickstart, Set to Arrive in Various English-Speaking Countries

Superman was not always too big for the television screen, and Smallville had proven it. Before there was a man made of steel, there was a teenage Clark Kent, who is now coming to Netflix.

Smallville had descended on the WB Network in 2001. Running for ten years and ten seasons, the show received its streaming debut in October 2016 on Hulu.

After 25 years, the show is finally being shifted to Netflix on January 13, 2026. The countries included in this shift are Australia, Canada, the UK, and Ireland. France, Italy, and Austria will also receive the series, as per What's On Netflix.

The series is, however, not scheduled for a Netflix release in its native country, the US, as per What's On Netflix. With Netflix and Warner Bros.' deal still underway, the series might end up on the streamer in the US soon enough.

Smallville's descent on Netflix comes with an excitement that suffices its premise.

Smallville will bring to Netflix a small Superman

Superman had surely not simply sprung onto Earth red-caped and ready to take on Lex Luthor. Smallville plays a part in bridging Clark Kent and Superman's stories with its focus on Kal-El's teenage years spent on a foreign planet.

Teenage Clark Kent will now soar through the aisles of Netflix's superhero selection. Smallville is set to receive a comeback rivalling a revival with its run on Netflix.
