Sophie Cunningham has always been open to sharing her life on social media. Whether it is her rehab updates, being a golf caddy for Caitlin Clark, or sharing a glimpse of the latest family mishap.
The Indiana Fever guard's family forgot to pick her up from the airport! She shared a video, looking visibly tired, wearing a cap and a comfortable sweatshirt.
"Don't mind me, just sitting here because my family, either my mom or dad, forgot me at the airport." She then panned the camera to show the empty airport. "It's literally just me here," she said in her IG story.
Cunningham’s casual yet sarcastic tone resonated with the fans. It gave them a glimpse into her unfiltered personality that they have come to love over time. Many joked, speculating that she was just joking.

Joking or not, Cunningham is not afraid to lay it all out on social media. And either way, her candid clip showed that even pro athletes can be relatable in humorous ways.
Sophie Cunningham's offseason
Apart from sharing her airport blunder, Cunningham has been in the news for joking about alternative career options.
On 5th January, she tweeted from her official X account, “hahaha my broadcasting career inspo,” after the LA Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors game. Her reaction came to Snoop Dogg picking up the headset midgame and reacting to Kerr’s ejection.
She has also been busy co-hosting the Show Me Something podcast with West Wilson. In her podcast, Cunningham revealed she aspired to join the WWE as a kid, and that dream might have a sliver of hope to become reality.
"Actually, they asked me to do it... Maybe after I retire or during the offseason, maybe us two will be the new WWE duo," she said on the December 21 episode.
However, for now, the WNBA star has hinted at her desire to return to the Indiana Fever, ahead of free agency. "The Indiana Fever was such a blessing. It's more my speed, more my style of play, and the girls in the locker room, at any level, it's hard to find a group that really loves each other, and especially at the pros, we really did," she said on January 9.
