Mike Wheeler may have played Paladin while fighting all things strange, but the real world has given him a more melodic twist. Guised as Finn Wolfhard, he has given George Harrison's 'Give Me Love' all it deserves.

George Harrison's 'Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)' just received its inaugural music video, directed by Finn Wolfhard. The original folk track debuted in 1973 on the album 'Living in the Material World'.

The video displays a stop-motion animated masterpiece that reimagines Harrison's spiritual plea through vibrant visuals with woven clouds, gnomes, and The Beatles' own mythic garden, according to Spin.

Nobody Told Me, and Tye Down Pictures have backed Wolfhard as he channeled Harrison's essence. Released December 16, 2025, it marks the song's video debut after 52 years. 

Shortly before the premiere, an announcement and trailer surfaced on George Harrison's social media on December 15. The song, on the other hand, was released as the lead single to his album. It went on to top the Billboard Hot 100, as well.

'Give Me Love' is a showcase of Harrison's slide guitar mastery and mantra-like plea for transcendence amid material distractions. The track embodies his post-Beatles embrace of Hinduism and inner peace that has resonated through the decades.

Wolfhard, for one, flipped the script from Hawkins' Upside Down to guitar riffs just as lovingly as George Harrison's spirituality.

Finn Wolfhard's musical quest

Finn Wolfhard has been balancing his Stranger Things stardom with a thriving music career. He initially served as lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for Vancouver rock band Calpurnia. After its November 2019 disbandment, he formed The Aubreys with drummer Malcolm Craig.

The Aubreys then debuted with a feature on the 2020 film The Turning's soundtrack. Singles like 'Loved One' and 'Smoke Bomb' followed, alongside their EP 'Soda & Pie' via AWAL.

Finn Wolfhard's direction of George Harrison's 'Give Me Love' video has bridged a few worlds together. From Stranger Things, The Aubreys, to The Beatles' unparalleled legacy, artistry mixes with heartfelt tribute.
