From receiving congratulations for her engagement to now passing a celebratory message, Taylor Swift adds a sweet comment to Breezy Johnson's recent social media post, in which Johnson shared moments from her proposal.

In the pictures Johnson shared, there is a ring and a ring box with a carving that reads a line from the Taylor Swift song ‘Alchemy’. The line goes-“Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?”

As a reference to the line, the Grammy winner Taylor Swift commented on Johnson's post with “‘Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.’ CONGRATULATIONS!!!”

Connor Watkins, now Johnson’s fiancé, dropped to the knee when she arrived at the finish line of Women’s Super G in Italy. He proposed, raising a silver ring embedded with a blue gem. It was all the more special with them surrounded by the competitors from other countries.

Johnson wrote on social media, “It was everything I ever dreamed of.”

The moment was overwhelming for both of them amid the snow-covered fairytale. Watkins told NBC News that he had been planning this proposal for a year. Instagram immortalised it, of course, but it was Taylor Swift’s approving comment that crowned the scene.

Conveniently, it is wedding season in the Swiftian universe. With Swift herself preparing to walk down the aisle after her August 2025 engagement to Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, love appears to be trending, white dresses, well-timed proposals, and the quiet suggestion that romance, much like pop music, is best enjoyed when everyone else is watching.

They are to have a summer wedding at Ocean House in Watch Hill, while the details are kept private. As she is all set to walk into her new chapter of life, she also celebrates and encourages others as they step onto their milestones.

Taylor Swift encourages the 2026 Winter Olympians

As the Winter Olympics commenced, Taylor Swift shared a pre-recorded message via NBC for the athletes. In the message, she shared that she was thankful for the sheer determination, passion, and hard work the athletes put in, which also inspires her.

This came soon after her music video for ‘Opalite’ was released on Spotify and Apple Music.

This was not her first time showing her support for athletes. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, Swift served as a major cheerleader for Team USA and also incorporated their performance in her music.

Nevertheless, she also narrated for the NBC promo for the event, tributing the three exceptional athletes of America: gymnast Simone Biles, swimmer Katie Ledecky, and sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson.

This highlights how deeply she respects the athletes and follows their journey, adding her bit to support and encourage at meaningful moments, as she did for the proposal moment of Breezy Johnson.
