Giving back to the world is a path pursued by many. Taylor Swift, too, has taken to giving back to the country roots she has come from, and the ACM stands witness.

The Academy of Country Music has received its share from Taylor Swift's fortune. The former country singer donated an undefined sum of money to the country music propagating foundation.

The Academy's philanthropy-centered branch, Lifting Lives, received the donation. Established in 2006, the ACM's Instagram declared Swift to be the usherer of the charity branch's 20th year.

"Her gift ushers in the 20th anniversary of #ACMLiftingLives and serving the Country Music Community", read the caption. The ACM is established in Nashville, Tennessee, exactly where Swift was scouted, as well.

Swift does not limit her gift-giving to the holidays, but even past Christmas.

Swift makes headlines often for her philanthropic efforts, spanning widely across fields. They go from supporting student fans with loans, hurricane survivors with necessities, to tour tickets to spread joy amid mourning.

Taylor Swift's donation to the ACM is a Christmas gift to music. Swift has held up the craft not just as a performance, but as a form of therapy with this.
